Welcome! We'll be working together for fourteen weeks this semester, so you'll be coming here often. Please read the information below. It will help you navigate this Wikispace...

Binder Stuff

You will use a binder this semester to keep all of your readings, assignments, notes, and work product accessible and organized. Please bring your binder to class every day. Most of the time, you will keep your binder with you. However, I may ask you to leave it in class so that I may check it for accuracy and review your work product. See this page for specifications and instructions.

Calendar

This page contains the H-F school schedule on it. It also has a link to a Google spreadsheet calendar. If you want to know the specifics of what's going on in class, visit the Google spreadsheet calendar.

Scott's Teaching History Wikispace

This is a personal project of mine. Visit this page to gain insight to who I am and things that are important to me as a history teacher. Please contact me if you have comments or questions about anything you find here, as well as suggestions for additional content.

Student Surveys

I believe that I can better meet my students' needs by gathering as much information on their opinions, thoughts, and feelings as possible. Students' feedback informs my practice and facilitates better teaching and learning outcomes. Please know that all online surveys are anonymous. Analysis of survey data will be shared with students. If I ask you to complete a paper survey and place your name on it, I assure you that the information you disclose will always be confidential.

Class Period Home Pages

Each class has its own home page. Please visit yours to see what we're doing in class every day and keep up with readings and assignments. Each class home page has a discussion board that we will use from time to time.
